Most clients find this out the hard way when they receive a notice from the DMV stating a fine that is due or a notice that their license has been suspended. <br \/>This is an easy fix &amp; is very preventable. This industry has taught us that other insurance carriers &amp; agents are not always providing this information to clients. SO&#8230;.how can this be prevented? Great question!<br \/><br \/>If you sell your car, DO NOT call your insurance carrier\/agent to remove the car from your policy until your license plate\/tag has been turned in to the DMV. That&#8217;s it!
